Punjab AGTF apprehends gangster Jaswant Singh for threatening Punjabi industry singers
PTC News Desk: In a major breakthrough, Anti Gangster Task Force (AGTF) arrested Jaswant Singh also known as Jassa Hoshiarpuria, an active member and notorious gangster of Davinder Bambiha Gang. The gangster has been arrested from the Shambhu border
The notorious gangster has been arrested for issuing threats against singers of Punjabi music industry like Karan Aujla and Sharry Mann by plotting extortions, other violent crimes and posting threatening FB messages.
During the arrest, one pistol along with five cartridges has been recovered from the gangster. FIR has been also registered under Arms Act at the Punjab State Crime Police Station, SAS Nagar.
Meanwhile, DGP Punjab also took to his Twitter handle and shared the picture of AGTF team along with the arrested gangster.
As per the sources, while interrogating the gangster it has been stated that, Jassa Hoshiarpuria was planning to carry out a fire outside the residence of Punjabi singers.
Notably, in the month of April Punjabi singer Karan Aujla and Sharry Mann received threats of death threats on Facebook from the member of Bambiha Group.
The threat warned the singers to settle their accounts and implied that they may face consequences for dancing with the Lawrence gang.
Meanwhile, the rise in threatening post on different social media platforms are raising concerns about the safety and security of Punjabi industry.
