PU Election Results 2024: Independent candidate Anurag Dalal wins PUCSC president post
PU Election Results 2024: Independent candidate Anurag Dalal, a former NSUI member, has bagged the post of President of the Panjab University Campus Students Council (PUCSC) with 3,434 votes. He beat his rival Prince Chaudhary of CYSS by a huge margin. '
The CYSS candidate secured 3,129 votes while ABVP's female candidate Arpita Malik got 1,114 votes.
Meanwhile, Jasvinder Rana of ABVP won the post of Joint Secretary, defeating HPSU's Rohit Sharma.
The voting for the Panjab University Student Council, Chandigarh started at 9:30 am.
A total of 182 polling booths were set up in 74 departments for voting. The counting of votes took place in the gymnasium hall.
