PTC Executive Editor Harpreet Singh Sahni honoured with Punjab Times Excellence Awards 2024
PTC Web Desk: Harpreet Singh Sahni, a distinguished news anchor, senior journalist and Executive Editor-cum-Channel Head, PTC News, was honoured at the Punjab Times Excellence Awards 2024, organised by the renowned Punjab Media Academy and Punjab Times in Jalandhar on Thursday. Harpreet Singh Sahni received recognition in the media category for his exceptional contributions to the field.
In addition to his role as a prominent news figure, Harpreet Singh holds the distinction of being the "Youngest Channel Head -cum-Executive Editor of a News Channel." His career trajectory has been an inspiration, combining journalistic integrity with leadership in the media industry.
A significant milestone in Harpreet Singh Sahni’s life was his achievement in 2005 when he was crowned the first 'Mr Singh International'. Despite the allure of the glamour world, he has remained committed to his faith, embracing the principles of Sabat Surat Sikhi. His steadfast adherence to his Sikh identity has inspired many Sikh youths today.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Harpreet Singh Sahni is also a dedicated social worker. He is actively serving as the Secretary of the Young Progressive Sikh Forum, a position he has held since the forum's inception in 2019 in New Delhi.
Harpreet’s contributions to Punjabi language and society have also earned him numerous accolades, including the Best Anchor Award for Punjabi Journalism in 2018, and the Best Speaker Award at the World Punjabi Conference in 2017 by the GGSSC.
