Chandigarh blast: Police nabs accused from Haryana's Hisar; first arrest in the case
PTC News Desk: In a significant development in Chandigarh blast case, the teams of Chandigarh Crime Branch and District Crime Cell have arrested few people in association with the blast case. According to the reports the teams have nabbed around two to four people from Hisar. This has been the first arrest in the case.
However no police official has commented on the arrest yet. Reportedly the arrests have been made in a joint operation of Chandigarh Crime Branch and District Crime Cell.
Earlier on Thursday, the police had identified the accused and had launched the manhunt. During the investigation cops raided several locations in Hisar before apprehending the culprits.
Two explosions occurred outside two clubs in Chandigarh, prompting authorities to suspect attempted extortion. According to police, the blast happened in Sector 26 opposite the Seville Bar and Lounge, owned by singer and rapper Badshah, and the De Orra Club. Lawrence Bishnoi gang took the responsibility for the blast in a post shared on social media.
