Tension, chaos and fear gripped Punjab’s Ghanaur as in a horrific, shocking and unsettling incident three killed and two critically injured as gunfire erupted in the Ghanaur constituency near Chattar Nagar village in Punjab over land dispute.
The incident, which unfolded over a contested 30-acre plot, witnessed members from both sides engaging in indiscriminate firing.
Reports indicate that the dispute over the land had intensified as both parties attempted to stake their claim. The exchange of fire tragically resulted in the deaths of three individuals, including a father and his son and two others sustained severe injuries.
The horrific incident caused terror and chaos in the region. Upon receiving reports of the incident, authorities swiftly initiated further investigation.
The body of the deceased have gone for the post-mortem examinations
