Punjab: NHAI once again increases toll rates at Ludhiana’s Ladowal toll plaza; 3rd hike in 2 years
PTC Web Desk: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has once again increased the toll rates at Ladowal Toll Plaza, Ludhiana, making it the most expensive toll plaza in Punjab. This marks the third hike in two years, with a 5% increase in toll charges.
Revised Toll Rates at Ladowal Toll Plaza
Cars: Rs 230 (one-way), Rs 345 (round trip)
Light Commercial Vehicles: Rs 370 (one-way), Rs 555 (round trip)
Buses & Two-Axle Trucks: Rs 775 (one-way), Rs 1,160 (round trip)
Three-Axle Commercial Vehicles: Rs 845 (one-way), Rs 1,245 (round trip)
Multi-Axle & Heavy Vehicles: Rs 1,215 (one-way), Rs 1,820 (round trip)
The increase in toll rates has sparked concerns among commuters, transporters, and businesses that rely on NH-44, one of the busiest highways in Punjab.
