Mohali Phase 3B2 market accident: Speeding Mercedes runs over two bikers in Mohali, one in critical condition
PTC Web Desk: A speeding Mercedes car ran over two bikers and flipped over in Mohali early this morning. The incident occurred around 4 am near the Phase-3B2 market. The police arrived at the scene immediately and rushed the injured victims to the hospital. One of the victims is reported to be in critical condition and has been referred to PGI for further treatment.
According to police officials, a food delivery employee was parked on the roadside when the Mercedes hit him. The collision caused severe damage to the rear wheel of the bike, and the rider sustained serious injuries. Following the initial impact, the car sped into a parking lot and hit another person before crashing into a tree and overturning.
The driver of the car has been taken into custody, and the investigation is underway. The police are reviewing footage from nearby security cameras to determine the cause of the accident.
The police said the condition of one of the injured was critical.
