Major reshuffle in Punjab Police; Naunihal Singh replaces Jaskaran Singh as Amritsar Police Commissioner
Chandigarh: Major reshuffle in postings and transfers of Punjab Police Officers came days after Ajnala clash between the armed supporters of Amritpal Singh and the police at Ajnala in Amritsar district.
In major reshuffle, 18 Punjab Police Officers have been transferred from their posts. Out of 18 officers, 16 are IPS while the other two are PPS officers.

IPS Naunihal Singh has been replaced by IPS Jaskaran Singh as Amritsar Police Commissioner.
Arpit Shukla IPS, ADGP will head the Law & Order Wing and all the Officers posted in the Wing will report to him.
