Triple murder case in Ludhiana cracked: Triple murder case in Ludhiana cracked: In a major breakthrough, Ludhiana Police cracked the sensational triple murder case in less than 12 hours with the arrest of the accused.
Ludhiana police commissioner Mandeep Singh Sidhu addressed a press conference on Saturday at 12 noon to divulge more details about the triple murder case.
Divulging the details about the triple murder case, Ludhiana police commissioner Mandeep Singh Sidhu said that the sensational murder case in Salem Tabri New Janakpur of Ludhiana has been committed by neighbour Robin.
Accused neighbour Robin first attacked Surinder Kaur with the hammer as she came out from the washroom half-clothed, then attacked Chaman Lal and lastly attacked elderly woman Bibi Jeeto.
According to Ludhiana police commissioner Mandeep Singh Sidhu, the neighbours had been nursing grudges against the family following a verbal spat. Police further added that the neighbour had assumed that the family may have a lot of cash stored at home as they seemed well-off and had four sons settled abroad.
The accused had opened the nob of an LPG gas cylinder and lighted incense sticks with the purpose of setting fire to the house to make it look like an accident, but the gas cylinder did not catch fire.
Meanwhile, DGP Gaurav Yadav also took to his Twitter handle and praised Ludhiana Police for cracking the triple murder case in less than 12 hours with the arrest of the accused.
Notably, tension and chaos gripped Punjab’s Ludhiana as in the shocking incident second triple murder case came to the fore on Friday as some unknown persons brutally killed a couple and an elderly woman in Salem Tabri New Janakpur of Ludhiana.
The deceased have been identified as Chamal Lal, (70), his wife Surinder Kaur (65) and his mother Bibi Jeeto (95).
