Ludhiana robbery: 6 arrested in Rs 8-crore loot case; woman mastermind still absconding
Ludhiana Robbery case: In a major breakthrough in the Ludhiana robbery case, police have arrested six person in Rs 8-crore loot case . Woman is the mastermind behind the loot of over 8 crores and is still absconding.
Police operations to arrest the remaining accused are underway.
The woman mastermind has been identified as Mandeep Kaur.
Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, the senior official also revealed that an employee of security firm CMS, which was targeted by robbers, was involved in the loot. The accused employee identified as Manjinder Mani is absconding.
Manjinder Mani was working in the company for the last four years. So far, Rs 5 crore of loot money has been recovered.
The robbers were apprehended based on CCTV video.

According to Gurpreet Kaur, Sarpanch of Mandiani Village, two individuals from the village were detained by the police and were later released. One of the individuals worked as driver in the security firm CMS and was on leave on the day of the robbery, therefore the police suspected him.
According to sources, police have also arrested three people from Dhatt village.
Last week, armed miscreants robbed a security firm’s office of Rs 8.49 crore and fled away with a cash van in the wee hours. The gang of masked robbers held the security firm’s employees captive in Aman Park area of New Rajguru Nagar.

At least ten masked robbers struck at 2.30 a.m., with two barging in through the front door and eight others breaking in through the back door.
The robbers held five employees captive at gunpoint and stole 4 crore from the office and also stole a cash vehicle containing another 3 crore.
