First batch of 36 principals to visit Singapore on Feb 4 to sharpen professional skills
Chandigarh, February 2: Fulfilling another guarantee promised to people of state, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Thursday announced that first batch of 36 Principals will visit Singapore for further sharpening of their professional skills.
The Chief Minister, during an online interaction with the people, said that during the run up of the assembly polls they had given guarantee to people that education system will be completely transformed in the state.

He said that since teachers are the nation builders who can uplift the level of education, so it was guaranteed that their teaching skills will be upgraded by ensuring quality training to them.
Bhagwant Mann said that as a part of this guarantee first batch of 36 Government School Principals will be going to Singapore on February 4 for professional training.
The Chief Minister said that these Principals will be participating in a Professional Teacher Training seminar from February 6-10. He said that this first batch will return back on February 11 after the completion of seminar. Bhagwant Mann envisioned that lakhs of students from across the state will be benefitted from this revolutionary step as with additional expertise from Singapore these Principals will upgrade level of education being imparted in the state.
The Chief Minister said that after returning back from Singapore these Principals will share their experience with their colleagues and students. He said that it will help in further up scaling the expertise and professional ability of the teachers to impart quality education to students. Bhagwant Mann envisioned that this will prove to be a milestone for reforming education system in the state adding that with these efforts Punjab will soon become a front runner state in the field of education.
