Farm union meeting in Patran remained inconclusive; stakeholders to meet on January 18
PTC News Desk: The meeting of all the major farm unions Punjab remained inconclusive and the next meeting has been scheduled for January 18 to carve out next plan of action.
Members from Ekta Resolution of SKM All-India, including Joginder Singh Ugrahan, Balbir Singh Rajewal, Dr Darshan Pal, Raminder Patiala and Yuddhvir Singh reached Patran to hold a joint discussion with with Kisan Mazdoor Morcha leader and Sanyukt Kisan Morcha Non-Political members. The meeting went on for four hours.
From KMM Satnam Singh Pannu, Sarwan Singh Pandher and from SKM Non-Political Abhimanyu Kohar and Kaka Singh Kotra are leading their respective five-member panel.
An 'Ekta Resolution' was passed by SKM-All India during Moga Mahanpanchayat on January 9 stressing upon unity among various farm unions to press their long-standing demands on Centre.
Notably, members of SKM all India on January 10 reached Khanauri border and met jagjit Singh Dallewal who has been on fast-unto death for 49 days.
