Exchange of fire between robber, police in Punjab’s Ludhiana
Chandigarh, November 18: Exchange of fire between robber and police has been reported from Punjab’s Ludhiana near Samrala Chowk.
During the heated exchange between robber and police, one police personnel and robber Amritraj have been injured and is undergoing a treatment.
Ludhiana police arrested the robber Amritraj who will be presented in the court in the upcoming days.
As per the sources, an ATM robbery case was witnessed in Ludhiana on November 6 in which one accused Uday Raj Singh, son of BJP’s Kisan Morcha leader had been arrested from Chandigarh on Thursday night.
On questioning the accused, he stated that six people were involved in ATM robbery case.
Further investigation is underway.
