PTC Web Desk: In a heartwarming display of strength and determination, Dr Navjot Kaur Sidhu, the wife of Punjab Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu, has embarked on a courageous journey in her fight against cancer. She has vowed to embrace turban until her hair returns.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, Punjab Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu shared an inspiring message of hope and solidarity with his beloved wife. He revealed that, in a touching gesture, Dr Navjot Kaur Sidhu has decided to don the Turban, a symbol of pride for Sikhs, throughout her battle with cancer.

Dr Navjot Kaur Sidhu was diagnosed with stage-2 invasive cancer earlier in March this year. Despite the challenges and personal hardships, the couple has shown remarkable courage and unity in their fight against this formidable foe.

Currently under the care of Dr Rupinder Batra at Waryam Singh Hospital in Yamunanagar, Haryana, Dr Navjot Kaur Sidhu continues her battle against cancer. Her journey has been an emotional rollercoaster, marked by moments of pain and resilience.

Navjot Singh Sidhu has been sharing poignant updates about his wife's treatment on various social media platforms, providing an intimate glimpse into their struggles and triumphs. In one such update posted on August 10, Navjot Singh Sidhu shared photos of his wife during her fifth chemotherapy session. He poignantly wrote, "The wounds have healed but the mental scars of this ordeal will remain. Fifth chemo underway. Finding a good vein went all in vain for some time, and then Dr. Rupinder’s expertise came in handy. She refused to move her arm, so spoon-fed her."
