BSF shot down Pak drone carrying narcotics near Amritsar border
PTC News Desk: Troops of Border Security Force (BSF) on Monday shot down a Pakistani drone carrying narcotics along the international border in Punjab's Amritsar.
BSF troops heard buzzing sound of suspected Pak drone at around 9 pm on May 22 near village Bhaini Rajputana in Amritsar district. Alert has been issued among the Border Security Force troops and as per the laid down drill, BSF troops immediately reacted to intercept the drone and successfully downed the Pak drone with the Contraband.

During subsequent search of the area, BSF troops recovered a black coloured drone (Quadcopter, DJI Matrice, 300 RTK) along with a consignment containing two packets of suspected Narcotics, attached with the Drone by means of iron ring, from the farming fields in village Bhaini Rajputana in Amritsar districts.
A small torch (switch - on condition) was also attached with the consignment, for easy detection by the Smugglers. The Gross Weight of the recovered Consignment of suspected Narcotics is approximately 2.1 kgs.
BSF troops foiled another nefarious attempt of Pakistan.
