BSF seizes 3 packets of heroin in Amritsar
Amritsar, March 14: The Vigilant BSF troops once again foiled nefarious designs of smugglers to smuggle contrabands.
The Border Security Force (BSF) troops foiled another smuggling attempt and recovered three packets of narcotics item, suspected to be Heroin (Gross wt 1.080 Kg) wrapped in yellow colour tape in district Amritsar.

According to the information received, during the morning hours while BSF troops were carrying out area domination patrol ahead of border fence, BSF observed suspicious human footprints on IB and recovered heroin in the area near Bharopal village in district Amritsar.
The further investigation and probe is underway.
