Amritsar: BSF shoots down Pak drone at India-Pakistan border
Amritsar, April 15: The Border Security Force (BSF) shot down an intruding drone near the India-Pakistan border on Saturday.
The drone was spotted at Bachiwind village near the international border at around 3.21 am on Saturday morning. Border Security Force troops deployed at the border area heard buzzing sound of a suspected flying object (drone) entering from Pakistan into Indian Territory in the area near Mullakot village in Amritsar. As per the laid down drill, troops immediately reacted and fired on the intruding drone.

During the search operation, BSF troops recovered one big bag containing 3 packets of narcotics suspected to be Heroin (Gross wt - 3.2 Kg), from the wheat fields , one iron ring and a luminous strip was also found attached with the consignment from village Bachiwind in Amritsar.
The search operation is still underway.
Vigilant BSF troops once again were able to foil nefarious designs of Pakistani smugglers.
