Amritsar: Applicants no longer have to wait for tatkal passports at Passport Seva Kendra
Amritsar, November 29: Applicants will no longer have to wait for three months for a tatkal passport at Amritsar Passport Seva Kendra.
According to the Amritsar passport officer, The large number of applicants queuing at the Passport Seva Kendra for passports and other services had put a strain on its men and material.
Applicants had also complained about having to wait a long time for their work to be completed. It used to take three months, while the tatkal passport applicant had to wait two months.

Observing the dissatisfaction of applicants, the Passport Ministry has decided that Passport Seva Kendras will be open on Saturday and those who want to apply for passports right away should come, according to the official. Applicants can now apply for a passport and now get a tatkal passport in 5 days.
