Amritpal still absconding : Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav addresses media on situation of Punjab; says submit to process of law
Amritsar, April 10: Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav during his visit at the Golden Temple in Amritsar on Monday morning addressed media on the situation, law and order of the Punjab.
Asserting that the Punjab Police is doing its best to maintain peace, law and order in the state and the hard-earned peace in Punjab would not be allowed to be disturbed.

He further stated that outside forces having support of Pakistan's ISI who are trying to disturb peace in Punjab will not be allowed to succeed.
Referring to radical preacher Amritpal Singh who is still absconding, he said religious places should not be used for personal reasons. "Religious places should not be misused."
Speaking to the media persons, he said, "Whosoever mischievous elements, who have the support of ISI, and are trying to disturb peace in Punjab, their designs will not be allowed to succeed," Yadav said, adding that the "situation is quite normal here in Punjab".
Addressing to the NRIs or Punjabis living in abroad, he added that "Our Punjabi brothers who are living in the US and Canada, I want to tell you that there is absolute peace in Punjab"
Whosoever is needed by the law, should submit to the process of law and everybody has a legal right and there is a legal process, Yadav said.
The police chief also appealed to Punjabis to not to fall prey to rumours.
