3 shot dead in broad daylight in Punjab's Ferozepur
PTC News Desk: Three people were shot dead in broad daylight near Gurdwara Akalgarh Sahib in Punjab's Ferozepur.
According to police sources, five persons were in the car when six gunmen on two motorcycles approached and opened fire before fleeing.
Three of the passengers died on the spot, including a woman whose wedding was due in a few days, while two others were injured and sent to hospital.
The victims have been identified as Jaspreet Kaur, 22, her brother Akashdeep Singh, 21, and Daldeep Singh, 32. The injured were identified as Anmol Singh and Harpreet Singh, both residents of Kamboj Nagar.
Reason behind the brazen crime is yet to be ascertained. Further details are awaited.
