Praveer Ranjan is Chandigarh's new DGP
Chandigarh DGP: The Government of India on Wednesday transferred Praveer Ranjan, 1993 batch IPS officer from Delhi, and posted him as DGP, UT Chandigarh.
Praveer Ranjan has been posted as Chandigarh DGP with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post and until further order.

Ranjan will surpass 1989 batch IPS officer Sanjay Bainiwal.
