Power crisis in Punjab deepens, three units of Talwandi Sabo Power Plant closed

Unit of Talwandi Sabo Power Plant closed amid Power crisis in Punjab: In a major setback to the Punjab government, amidst a power shortage in Punjab, the units of power plants in the state are being shutdown day by day. As per information received, three units of the Talwandi Sabo power plant at village Banawali in Mansa district have been shut down. After the closure of two units, the capacity of this unit was only 320 MW and now this unit has also been shut down.
