Rahul Gandhi criticises PM Modi, says India is trapped in a modern-day 'chakravyuh'

PTC News Desk: Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi stated in the Lok Sabha on Monday that the nation is currently caught in a 'chakravyuh,' symbolised by the Lotus symbol (of the BJP).

Rahul Gandhi also asserted that dread permeates Indian society. "India is trapped in a 'chakravyuh' represented by the Lotus symbol that Prime Minister Narendra Modi wears on his chest," stated the Congress leader. "Youth have been trapped in Agniveer 'chakravyuh', and there are no provisions in the Budget for pension for Agniveers," Gandhi stated.

"Abhimanyu was slain thousands of years ago in Kurukshetra when he was caught in a "chakravyuh" by six individuals. After doing some investigation, I discovered that 'chakravyuh' is sometimes referred to as 'padmavuyh,' which translates to 'Lotus formation.' The 'chakravyuh' is shaped like a lotus, declared Rahul Gandhi.

"A new 'chakravyuh' has emerged in the twenty-first century, and it takes the shape of a lotus. Narendra Modi, the prime minister, carries its emblem on his chest. Similar to what happened to Abhimanyu, similar things are happening to India's young, women, farmers, and small and medium-sized enterprises.

Six individuals killed Abhimanyu. The Congress spokesperson stated, "Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Mohan Bhagwat, Ajit Doval, National Security Advisor, and the businessmen Ambani and Adani are the six persons at the center of 'chakravyuh' today as well.

Rahul Gandhi replied, "If you want, I will omit the names of NSA Doval, of Ambani, and of Adani, and take just three names," in response to Speaker Om Birla's intervention.

Rahul Gandhi stated, "There are three forces behind the 'chakravyuh' that has captured India. The first is the idea of monopoly capital, which holds that two people should be able to own all of India's wealth." Thus, the concentration of financial power is one source of the "chakravyuh."

"Second, the institutions, the agencies - the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the Enforcement Directorate (ED), the Income Tax Department (IT), and third, the political executive."

"These three, together, are at the heart of the 'chakravyuh' and have devastated this country," said Rahul Gandhi. "Cronies are being harmed by the 'chakravyuh' that you have constructed. We intend to dissect this "chakravyuh." The caste census is the most significant method—one that should terrify you," the Congressman remarked.

"INDI Alliance will pass guaranteed legal MSP in this House, as I already stated. In the same way, whether you like it or not, we will pass the caste census in this House," he continued. Rahul Gandhi claimed in a House speech that the nation was living in a fear-based environment.

"In India, there is a general climate of fear that has affected every facet of our nation. "My friends are happy, but they're also afraid," he continued. "Only one man is permitted to aspire to be prime minister in the BJP. There is a serious issue and a lot of worry if the defense minister decides he wants to become prime minister. The entire nation is now gripped by this anxiety, according to Rahul Gandhi.

Rahul Gandhi also criticized the July 22 Union Budget, which was delivered by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, saying, "The Budget has not addressed the issue of tax terrorism, and that has hurt small businesses."

"My expectation was that this Budget would weaken the power of this 'chakravyuh', that this Budget would help the farmers of this country, would help the youth of this country, would help the labourers, the small business of this country."

"...But what I have seen is that the sole aim of this Budget is to strengthen the framework of monopoly business, of a political monopoly that destroys the democratic structure and the framework of the deep state and the agencies," Rahul Gandhi stated.

"The result of this has been - those who gave employment to India, small and medium businesses, were attacked through demonetisation, GST and tax terrorism," he stated.
