Punjab Congress leader Navjot Sidhu to be released from jail on April 1: Aman Arora
1988 road rage case: Punjab Cabinet minister Aman Arora on Friday announced that Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu would be released from the Patiala Central Jail on April 1. Sidhu's 45-day sentence has been remitted amid his good conduct.
Aman Arora made this announcement after the Cabinet meeting, though the issue was not on the agenda on Friday.
Recently, former PCC chief Navjot Singh Sidhu’s wife Navjot Kaur Sidhu was diagnosed with stage 2 invasive cancer and underwent surgery. She also posted an emotional letter to her husband on Twitter. Navjot Sidhu was sentenced to one year in jail in connection with a 1988 road rage case.
