Sikar (Rajasthan), July 27: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the newly formed opposition alliance, the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (I.N.D.I.A.), asserting that it is time for corruption and appeasement to "Quit India," drawing parallels to Mahatma Gandhi's historic "Quit India" movement. Speaking at a public rally in Sikar, PM Modi criticised the alliance's attempt to hide the previous actions of the UPA government under the banner of INDIA.

Addressing the crowd, PM Modi remarked, "Under the guise of INDIA, they seek to conceal their past deeds, the deeds of the UPA. If they genuinely cared about India, would they have sought foreign interference in our nation's affairs?" He emphasised the need for a new slogan: "Bhrashtachar (Corruption) Quit India, Parivarwad Quit India, Tushtikaran (Appeasement) Quit India. Quit India will safeguard the nation and foster our development."

PM Modi also drew attention to a past slogan used by the Congress party, stating, "They had once proclaimed, 'Indira is India, India is Indira.' However, the public rejected their arrogance then, and they are repeating the same mistake now."

He further criticised the Congress party, alleging that it has lost direction and that its allies have undergone name changes akin to fraudulent companies in the past. "Congress has become a directionless party. Congress and its allies have changed their names, much like fraudulent companies did, in an attempt to wash away the stain of appeasement towards terrorism. Their actions bear resemblance to those of the country's adversaries. The use of the name INDIA is not indicative of their patriotism; it appears to be an attempt to plunder the country," he stated.

Earlier on the same day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated various development projects worth crores in Rajasthan's Sikar district. These projects included PM Kisan Samriddhi centers and medical colleges. During the inauguration, PM Modi reiterated his government's commitment to supporting the farmers of the nation. "The power and hard work of farmers extract gold from the soil. That's why our government stands shoulder to shoulder with the farmers of the country," he proclaimed.

He highlighted that the central government has taken numerous pro-farmer decisions over the past nine years and established new mechanisms from seed to market to benefit them. "For decades since independence, no government understood the pain and suffering of farmers and addressed their concerns like this government has in the last nine years," he added, eliciting thunderous applause from the audience.

The Prime Minister's visit to Rajasthan and Gujarat on July 27-28 included a walkthrough of Rajkot International Airport in Gujarat. His actions and speeches during the visit showcased the government's focus on development and the welfare of farmers.
