PM Modi promises all possible help to HP as CM Sukhvinder Sukhu makes courtesy call
Shimla, January 24: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Tuesday. It was a courtesy call.
Besides discussing various development projects under implementation in Himachal Pradesh, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu also requested for liberal assistance from the Centre for giving a fillip to the ongoing development works.

The Chief Minister ensured Prime Minister Narendra Modi that the Himachal government would effectively implement the centrally launched schemes, viz: 'Pradhanmantri Gati Shakti Yojana which aimed at revolutionising infrastructure and Parvatmala Yojana for construction of ropeways.
He said both these schemes would immensely benefit the people of the state, adding that connectivity and infrastructure development were one of the main focus areas of the present government, besides generating employment avenues for the people.

The Chief Minister also honoured the Prime Minister with traditional memento, Himachali Shawl and cap. The Prime Minister congratulated Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on becoming the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh and assured of all possible support to the state.
