Pakistan gangster Shahzad Bhatti threatens Mithun Chakraborty: "Apologize for your remarks or face consequences'

PTC Web Desk: Pakistan gangster Shahzad Bhatti, currently based in Dubai, has issued a direct threat to veteran Bollywood actor and BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty following a controversial statement made during a political rally in Kolkata. Bhatti, known as a close accomplice of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and the right-hand man of Pakistani crime lord Farooq Khokhar, demanded an apology from Chakraborty for his remarks or face consequences.

In two separate videos released online, Shahzad Bhatti's message was clear. The first video featured Bhatti directly addressing Mithun Chakraborty, urging him to apologise within 10-15 days. In the second video, Bhatti played a clip of Chakraborty’s speech with a voice-over warning the actor of potential regret if he failed to comply.

Shahzad Bhatti, placing a photo of Mithun Chakraborty in the video, stated, “This video is for Mithun, who said in his recent statement that he would ‘cut Muslims and throw them in their place.’ Mithun Sahab, my advice is to issue an apology within 10 to 15 days. It is in your best interest and necessary for peace.”

On October 27, Chakraborty, at a rally attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, reportedly spoke against anti-Hindu rhetoric, saying, “A local leader claimed that Hindus, being the minority here, would be thrown into the Bhagirathi river. I will not throw you into the river, but I will bury you on your land.” This statement stirred significant tension and drew criticism from various quarters.

In the video, Bhatti said, “You hurt our sentiments. Remember, Muslims have also supported and respected you, even when your films were flops. At your age, people sometimes speak out of turn and later regret it. You must apologise before that regret turns costly.”

Shahzad Bhatti said he wasn’t issuing a movie-like threat. “This isn’t a film; it’s real life. I don’t threaten people over videos. Name one instance in India where you’ve seen a person go and slap someone of another faith as boldly as you claim,” Bhatti remarked, challenging Chakraborty’s rhetoric.

He ended the video with a stark warning: “Don’t think about engaging in a war you cannot win, because the outcome will only be your embarrassment.”

Who is Shahzad Bhatti?

Shahzad Bhatti has a long record of involvement in serious crimes, including murder, land disputes, and arms trafficking in Pakistan. Now residing in Dubai, he runs an extensive network operating in the US, Canada, Dubai, and Pakistan, alongside Farooq Khokhar. Farooq is known for his political influence and travels with an entourage, including exotic animals such as lions. Together with another notorious figure, Zafar Supari, Khokhar manages a sprawling syndicate.

Bhatti’s notoriety rose when he earlier claimed to mediate a peace deal between Bollywood star Salman Khan and Lawrence Bishnoi, who had publicly threatened Khan. Bhatti shared that he and Khokhar intervened because “no one else in India stepped forward to mediate between Lawrence and Salman.”

This involvement, however, painted Bhatti and his accomplices as terror-linked figures. “They accused us of being terrorists from Balochistan and even implicated us as weapon suppliers in Sidhu Moosewala’s murder,” Bhatti lamented.

Viral video of Bhatti and Lawrence Bishnoi

Approximately four months ago, a video call lasting 17 seconds between Bhatti and Lawrence Bishnoi circulated online, where Bishnoi was seen greeting Bhatti with Eid wishes. The call, conducted over the encrypted Signal app, raised questions about the ability to trace such interactions. During that time, Bishnoi was under high-security detention in Gujarat’s Sabarmati Central Jail. The jail authorities, however, denied any prison connection to the video but acknowledged its presence on social media.
