Kejriwal's arrest: Delhi Police stops Atishi's vehicle; AAP's bold response to Modi, 'shoot us'
PTC News Desk: In a series of escalating tensions, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has accused the Narendra Modi-led central government of orchestrating systematic intimidation tactics ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj raised serious allegations, claiming that the Union government, through the Delhi Police under its purview, is obstructing the free movement of AAP leaders, even within their official premises.
Addressing the media at a press conference, Bharadwaj condemned what he termed as blatant bullying and the absence of law and order in the situation. He expressed dismay over the obstruction of AAP's access to its party office, raising concerns about the party's ability to effectively participate in the upcoming elections. Bharadwaj emphasised that such actions by the police were unwarranted and demanded intervention from the Election Commission of India to ensure fairness and neutrality in the electoral process.

Adding to the outcry, Atishi, in a social media post, questioned the rationale behind sealing the party office, stating that it contradicts the fundamental principle of a level playing field guaranteed by the Indian Constitution during elections. She further asserted that the AAP would bring this matter to the attention of the Election Commission for appropriate action.
In a video shared online, Atishi can be seen engaged in a heated argument with a Delhi Police officer, while some AAP leaders stage a protest by lying on the road. Amidst the confrontation, one AAP leader is heard shouting, "Goli maaro! (Shoot us)" in frustration over the perceived injustice.

The video captured the escalating tension between AAP leaders and the police, highlighting the extent of the standoff. AAP, in a scathing remark directed at Prime Minister Modi, accused him of cowardice and alleged attempts to suppress opposition voices. The party warned of dire consequences, challenging the government's tactics and vowing to resist any attempts to curtail their democratic rights.
As the situation intensifies, AAP's defiance underscores the deepening political tensions and the looming electoral showdown between the ruling establishment and the opposition.
