Jharkhand Assembly Elections 2024: BJP has launched a 'Parivartan Yatra' against the Hemant Soren government ahead of the key Assembly elections in Jharkhand.

'Parivartan Yatra' was launched by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on September 20. It will conclude on October 3.

All about BJP 'Parivartan Yatra'

- Amit Shah launched the BJP's 'Parivartan Yatra' in Sahibganj. The opposition BJP will organise six 'Parivartan Yatras' across several divisions of Jharkhand, to highlight the shortcomings of the JMM-led coalition government and remove them in the upcoming assembly elections.

- The 'Parivartan Yatras' will cover 5,400 km, crossing through all 81 assembly constituencies and 24 districts. The yatra will run from September 20 until October 3, with each leg beginning on different dates from various organisational divisions.

- Jharkhand is divided into five official divisions: Santhal Pargana, Palamu, North Chotanagpur, South Chotanagpur, and Kolhan, with North Chotanagpur being further divided for organisational purposes. The 'Parivartan Yatra' will pass through each of these divisions.

- The BJP claimed on social media that the JMM-Congress government forced the people of Jharkhand to shed tears of blood. Corrupt officials and mafias are looting the state's resources in alliance with family-oriented forces that encourage outsider infiltration.

- The BJP stated, "A wave of change is resonating in the hearts of the people." Through the 'Parivartan Yatra,' the BJP will reach out to every block, home, and family."

- The BJP emphasised that the 'Parivartan Yatra' is more than just a political campaign; it symbolises the party's will to bring about significant change in Jharkhand. Through this initiative, the party seeks to address major issues such as development, employment, and social harmony, paving the way for a brighter future for the state and its residents.
