New Delhi, February 9: Politicians, it seems, are in the race to showcase their outfits in Parliament. After Prime Minister hogged the limelight for wearing a blue bandgala jacket made out of recycled bottles in Parliament, Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge has also garnered the attention  by flaunting an expensive Louis Vuitton scarf in Parliament. It comes at a time when he has been targeting the BJP over 'poverty' 

Kharge has invited the wrath of several BJP leaders, who taunted him for speaking about poverty while wearing expensive  Louis Vuitton scarf. It is learnt that Louis Vuitton scarf worn by Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge costs Rs 56,332 as it has been made of cozy wool and cashmere.

BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla, while comparing  Kharge's expensive Louis Vuitton scarf with the recycled jacket worn by PM Modi, tweeted, "Taste apna apna , Sandesh Apna Apna. PM Modiji sports a blue jacket made from recycled bottles sending a green message of fighting climate change …Kharge ji wears expensive LV scarf & talks about poverty!  Burberry-LV poverty experts!
