Delhi excise policy case: The Enforcement Directorate on Friday filed fresh chargesheet against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in connection with the alleged Delhi excise policy scam, implicating his party the Aam Aadmi Party.

As per the reports, the charge sheet was filed before a special court, with the charges proposed under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).

The federal agency detained Kejriwal, who also serves as the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party, at his official residence on March 21. He is currently out on interim bail.

In the excise policy case, the ED informed the Supreme Court that it had found conversations between Arvind Kejriwal and hawala operators about the purported profits of crime.

The organization asserts that since Kejriwal declined to divulge the password to his devices, the chats were retrieved from the hawala operators' devices.
