Police launch search operation at housing society in Zirakpur
Zirakpur, August 2: The police conducted a special search operation at Nirmal Chhaya Society on VIP Road in Zirakpur on Tuesday morning. The main aim of operation was to arrest anti-social elements, check possession of illegal arms and drugs, and find those living without tenant verification. Also Read: Notorious sharpshooter of Gogi gang caught by Delhi Police after gunfight Briefing about the search campaign, SP (Rural) Navreet Singh Virk stated that the operation was carried on the orders of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and under the leadership and guidelines of DGP Gaurav Yadav. He further stated that, “A search operation was conducted to create a sense of security among the general public, under which all the flats of the high-rise society were checked." “The main objective of this campaign is to prevent the activities of anti-social elements and create a sense of security among the people. Police will continue such campaigns in the future as well.
