PM Modi to inaugurate Global Patidar Business Summit
New Delhi, April 29: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate the Global Patidar Business Summit (GPBS), organised by Sardardham on Friday at 12 noon. The Global Patidar Business Summit is being held in Surat, Gujarat. Taking to Twitter, PM Modi stated that the summit's objective is to encourage entrepreneurship and value creation among the youth. As per the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), the Sardardham is organising GPBS under 'Mission 2026' to provide an impetus to the socio-economic development of the Patidar community. The GPBS is organised every two years. The first two Summits took place in Gandhinagar in 2018 and 2020, and the current Summit is now being held in Surat. The Summit, according to the PMO, will bring together small, medium, and large businesses in the community, as well as nurture and support new entrepreneurs and give training and job opportunities for educated youth. The three-day Summit, which runs from April 29 to May 1, will address a variety of subjects, including government industrial policy, MSMEs, start-ups, and innovation.
