Phagwara: 6 hurt in head-on car collision at Santokhpura flyover
Phagwara, October 15: Six people were injured when two cars collided head-on at Santokhpura flyover on the national highway in Phagwara on Friday evening.
As per a statement issued by a police official, Gaurav Jain, who sustained injuries, was returning from Ludhiana when he lost control over his vehicle and it rammed into another car coming from Jalandhar side.

As per information, Gaurav Jain and other occupants of the car, identified as Nisha, Ranjana, Kanika and Bhupesh (child) sustained serious injuries. They have been admitted to a local hospital.
Driver Lakhvir Singh also sustained critical injuries.
Earlier, in another accident near the Jalandhar-Pathankot highway, a father-daughter duo was seriously injured following a collision between a bike and a car.
