Petrol pumps in Punjab will now open only from 7 am to 5 pm, here's why
While petrol and diesel prices in India continue to rise, the petrol pump owners have decided that petrol pumps in the state will now open only from 7 am to 5 pm. The decision was taken in the Punjab Petroleum Dealers Association's meeting which was held at Sutlej Club in Ludhiana, Punjab. Therefore, it was collectively decided that we give notice to the Govt of Punjab, Oil Marketing Companies and MoPNG, he said. "Limit working timings from 7 am to 5 PM from November 7 to reduce expenses," the association said, adding that "failing a response from the concerned, Punjab dealers shall close down their pumps on November 22." -PTC News
