Petrol, diesel prices cut down again; check revised rates
The petrol and diesel prices in India were slashed on Tuesday by the oil marketing companies (OMCs). According to the state-run OMCs, petrol and diesel prices were cut by 22 paise and 23 paise, respectively.
Meanwhile, the petrol price in New Delhi stands at Rs 90.56 per litre while it was Rs 90.78 on Monday while the diesel price was at Rs 80.87 a litre as compared with Rs 81.10.
The revised prices of petrol and diesel in Mumbai stand at Rs 96.98 per litre and Rs 87.96 per litre, respectively.

On the other hand, in Kolkata, the petrol reached Rs 90.77 per litre while a litre of diesel costs Rs 83.75, 23 paise less than Monday's price.
In Chennai, the petrol was 19 paise cheaper on Tuesday and was available at Rs 92.58 per litre while diesel prices were cut down to Rs 85.88, 22 paise less than the earlier price of Rs 86.10 a litre.

Meanwhile, petrol in other major cities is Rs 88.91 a litre in Noida, Rs 93.59 in Bengaluru, Rs 94.16 in Hyderabad, Rs 97.08 in Jaipur, Rs 88.85 in Lucknow and Rs 92.89 in Patna, as per data from the website of Indian Oil Corporation.
Likewise, diesel in other major cities is Rs 81.33 in Noida, Rs 85.75 in Bengaluru, Rs 88.20 in Hyderabad, Rs 89.35 in Jaipur, Rs 81.27 in Lucknow and Rs 86.12 in Patna.
