Patiala traffic police conducts surprise check at various locations
Patiala, September 17: In order to keep a check on over speeding and to reduce accidents Patiala traffic police has started surprise checking by using speed radar at undisclosed locations on the main highways.
In the inaugural drive, the speed radar was placed on the Patiala Rajpura highway. The drive is still going on.

The drive will be continued at various locations to retain the element of surprise. The drive is being personally supervised by the SSP Patiala Deepak Parik and DSP traffic Karamvir Toor was also present at the naka.
