Lashkar-e-Taiba joins hands with Dawood Ibrahim, planning to launch terror attacks in India: Sources
Pakistan-based terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) is planning to carry out terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir and other parts of India with the help of India's most wanted Dawood Ibrahim, the sources said. As per the sources, LeT has joined hands with Dawood Ibrahim to carry out strikes in India as Dawood was spotted in Islamabad on Sunday. It is learned that Dawood had gone with a team of Pakistan's ISI, for a meeting with the LeT leaders. The intelligence sources also said that ISI is planning to create unrest in India at a time when the country is focused on containing the spread of COVID-19. As per the sources, LeT is planning to send weapons to Gujarat or Maharashtra via sea route. ISI wants to create unrest while most of the Indian security paraphernalia is busy tackling COVID-19 and sees the pandemic as a great opportunity to target major Indian cities, CNN News 18 reported.
