Nissan virtually unveils production model of Magnite SUV

Nissan Motor Corporation virtually unveiled the production model of its B-SUV, the Nissan Magnite. Also Read | E-Challan: 21,000 challans issued in past 3 months; 67% disposed off on the spot The SUV, which is Nissan’s first new vehicle in India in two years, was unveiled in India in its concept form in-mid July 2020. Here are a few features of the newly launched car:

• Nissan Magnite will be just one of three Nissan-branded models in the market after two others were pulled out in April when tougher emission rules kicked in.
• Magnite will be powered by a HR10 turbo engine with mirror bore coating from the iconic GT-R. The engine will be paired to an Xtronic CVT gearbox. The CVT gearbox comes with de-step control logic. The SUV also offers cruise control to enhance the driving experience.
• The sub-compact SUV gets a 7-inch drive-assist display, 8-inch touch screen flush infotainment system, tyre pressure monitor, 360 degree camera, vehicle dynamics control under the automaker’s human-centric approach.
• SUV comes with a high tensile steel body, ABS, EBD, hydraulic brake assist, hill start assist, traction control, speed-sensing door locks to ensure complete safety of the passengers.Nissan Magnite is the first out of eight models to be launched in India under the all-new Next strategy, an official said.-PTC News
