(1/2) <a href=https://t.co/wQBdM78JVe>pic.twitter.com/wQBdM78JVe</a></p>&mdash; DGP Punjab Police (@DGPPunjabPolice) <a href=https://twitter.com/DGPPunjabPolice/status/1600394449086869505?ref_src=twsrc^tfw>December 7, 2022</a></blockquote> <script async src=https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js charset=utf-8></script>ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਵਿਵੇਕ ਐੱਸ ਸੋਨੀ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਗੈਰ ਸਮਾਜੀ ਅਨਸਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰਾਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਛੇੜੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਅਧੀਨ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਜਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਰੂਪਨਗਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮੱਧ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਨਜਾਇਜ਼ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਜੀ ਗੈਂਗ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਵੱਡੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਵਿਵੇਕ ਐੱਸ ਸੋਨੀ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ 2 ਦਸੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਥਾਣਾ ਰੂਪਨਗਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਸਾਥੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਭੂਸ਼ਨ ਪੰਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ 4 ਪਿਸਟਲ ਅਤੇ 34 ਜ਼ਿੰਦਾ ਕਾਰਤੂਸ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਨ। ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਤੋਂ ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਤਾਂ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮੱਧ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ ਤੋਂ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।
