Newborn twins test positive for coronavirus in Gujarat's Vadodara
In a shocking incident, a set of newborn twins tested positive for coronavirus in Vadodara in Gujarat. Fortunately, the newborns are currently stable while they are being given supportive treatment in the hospital. "Twins were brought to the hospital in 15 days after being born with severe diarrhea and dehydration. They tested positive but are better now. Here’s what facts say The doctor also informed that both parents of the newborn twins had also tested positive for coronavirus and are being treated for it in Gujarat's Vadodara. Even as the caregivers of newborns also tested positive for Covid-19. India on Friday reported 81,466 new COVID-19 cases, 50,356 discharges, and 469 deaths in the last 24 hours, as per the Union Health Ministry. Thus, the total number of cases in India has reached 1,23,03,131, total recoveries 1,15,25,039 and active cases 6,14,696 while death toll is at 1,63,396.
