Mohali DC Girish Dayalan announces new relaxations in the district
Amid coronavirus outbreak, Mohali DC Girish Dayalan on Friday announced some new relaxations for the public. As per the new guidelines, the restaurants/eateries shall remain closed, except for the home delivery and takeaway with the specific prior permission of the undersigned. Likewise, Dine-in shall not be allowed under any circumstances, failing to which both the management and the customer shall be held liable for the violation.
Meanwhile, all the Industry/Industrial Establishments (both Government and Private) shall be allowed to operate in both the urban and rural areas, as per the provisions of the Ministry of Home Affairs for Orange zone. Public dealing in the banks can be done between 9 am to 5 pm or regular hours of the Bank concerned.
It has also been clarified that the shops in Urban Areas can be opened on a staggered rotational basis between 7 am to 6 pm. Staggered Rotation shall not apply on Essential Shops (food/ groceries/ milk and milk products/ medicines); Restaurants/ eateries (granted permission), Workshops such as those for automobiles; Liquor vends; and those establishments specifically exempted, the DC stated.

All other restrictions already in place shall continue and all the concerned shall ensure adherence of SoP and National Directives of MHA/ Government of Punjab.
