PTC News Desk: A shocking video of a woman brutally thrashing her mother-in law in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior has gone viral. The incident, which occurred on April 4, was captured on CCTV and has gone viral on social media.
According to complainant Vishal Batra, his wife Neelika had been pressuring him to send his 70-year old mother Sarla Batra to old age age home. Vishal, however, refused due to his mother’s health. This led to frequent arguments between them.

The matter escalated when Nikita called her father and her brother to their residence who then physically assaulted Vishal. Soon after the altercation, Vishal's mother intervened who was then brutally beaten up by Neelika. She dragged Vishal's mother from hair and threashed her multiple times.
A CCTV footage of the incident confirmed the incident.
Sarla Batra said that her daughter-in-law had been abusing her for several days but she remained silent to avoid troubling her son. However, when Vishal was attacked, she intervened, only to be assaulted in front of him.
Fearing for their life, Vishal and her mother approached police station and filed a complaint alleging that Neelika's father and brother threatened to kill them even inside the police station.
Sarla Batra added, “Neelika, her father and her brother beat us. My daughter-in-law wants me to leave the house. She has been abusing me daily. I came to the SP office to seek justice.”
