The agitators not only set Solanke's residence ablaze but also pelted stones and inflicted damage on a parked vehicle outside his home. Recalling the horrifying incident, the NCP legislator expressed, "I was inside my home when it was attacked. Fortunately, none of my family or staff were injured. We are all safe, but there is a significant loss of property."
Images released by ANI captured a substantial white house engulfed in flames, with a massive plume of dark smoke billowing from the burning structure.
In a parallel development, the ongoing Maratha quota protests have spilled over into a cricket World Cup match taking place in Pune, where Afghanistan is facing off against Sri Lanka. To prevent any disturbances during the match, the police are turning away individuals dressed in black due to concerns that they may attempt to make a political statement.
