UP teacher fired after phone records reveal extensive Candy Crush playtime
PTC News Desk: An addiction to the smartphone game Candy Crush caused a government school teacher to lose his job.
Due to his use of his phone to play Candy Crush and converse while on duty, the teacher has been suspended. When District Magistrate Rajendra Pansiya conducted a random inspection of the school, he discovered numerous errors in the copies of the children, spanning from the first to the final page. This led to the discovery of the occurrence.
Subsequently, it was discovered that the teacher had played Candy Crush for about two hours during school hours thanks to a feature on his phone that logged the amount of time spent using apps.
"Teachers should concentrate on reviewing students' assignments and homework to make sure they are receiving a high-quality education. Additionally, the District Magistrate reminded reporters that while using a cell phone for personal reasons during school hours is not appropriate, it is not a problem either.
Mr. Pansiya went over six pages from six students' copies and found 95 errors, nine of which were on the opening page. He checked assistant teacher Priyam Goyal's phone and voiced his anger.

The teacher's phone's Digital Well-being feature then showed that, throughout the five and a half hours of school, Priyam Goyal played Candy Crush for almost two hours, talked on the phone for twenty-six minutes, and utilised social media applications for nearly thirty minutes.
The assistant instructor was suspended when the District Magistrate brought the issue to the attention of the state education administration.
