Notably, Haryana is the first state in the country to allocate pensions for unmarried men and women.

The Haryana Government announced the scheme for unmarried people aged between 45 to 60 years in the state.

The Haryana Government also announced pension of Rs 2,750 per month for widowers aged between 40 to 60 with the annual income of less that Rs 3 lakh.
