UIDAI extends free document upload deadline for Aadhaar card updates | Check

PTC Web Desk: The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) on Tuesday declared an extension of the deadline for free online document uploads until June 14, 2024, aimed at assisting Aadhaar cardholders. The announcement was made on X (formerly Twitter), with the message, "#UIDAI is offering the opportunity to upload documents for free online until June 14, 2024, exclusively on the #myAadhaar website. UIDAI emphasises the importance of keeping Aadhaar card details up-to-date."

Initially, UIDAI had set March 14, 2024, as the deadline for free Aadhaar Card details update. However, they have now prolonged the timeframe for the second time, encouraging individuals, particularly those with outdated or unupdated Aadhaar Cards spanning a decade, to utilize the complimentary service on the mAadhaar portal until June 14, 2024.
