This Indian travelers' UAE visa update marks a step forward in strengthening the partnership between India and the UAE, where over 3.5 million Indians currently reside. The revised UAE visa policy for Indian citizens is expected to boost tourism, business, and personal visits between the two countries.

The UAE's Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security (ICP) made the official announcement on October 17, confirming that Indian passport holders with ordinary passports are now eligible for visa-on-arrival at all UAE entry points. Prior to this change, this privilege was extended only to Indian citizens with residence permits from the US, UK, or EU countries.
