Bengaluru techie suicide: Techie Atul's mother grieves uncontrollably, says 'my son was tortured'

Atul Subhash, a 34 year old techie ended his life leaving a 1.5 hour video and a 24 page suicide note alleging his estranged wife and her in-laws of mental harassments.

Bengaluru techie suicide: Techie Atul's mother grieves uncontrollably, says 'my son was tortured'

As the suicide case of Bengaluru techie has garnered national attention, the grieving family of the techie have said that their son was tortured. Mother of Bengaluru techie Atul Subhash fainted while  she was addressing media. 


'My son was tortured' these are her words moment before she fainted during the address. Accompanied by her husband, she was seen crying, while he said, "He (Atul Subhash) was tortured so much that he used to hide it from us. He didn't want us to be upset."

Atul Subhash, a 34 year old techie ended his life leaving a 1.5 hour video and a 24 page suicide note alleging his estranged wife and her in-laws of mental harassments. Words fell short as the grieving parents narrated their ordeal. When asked if it was a murder, the father said, "Torturing someone is the same as killing." 

Subhash, a native of Uttar Pradesh, was found dead in his Bengaluru apartment. In the note he left behind, he accused his estranged wife, Nikita, and her family of harassment, including filing false cases against him, with claims of dowry demands, unnatural sex, and murder.
