'We want our grandson': Techie Atul Subhash's father seeks police assistance after wife Nikita's arrest
PTC News Desk: Following the arrest of estranged wife Nikita and her family, techie Atul Subhash's father has expressed concerns over his 4 year old grandson whose whereabouts remain unknown. He also further requested the police to handover Subhash's son to them.
Soon after the arrest of Nikita, he said "I am thankful to the police for arresting their (Nikita Singhania’s) family. We do not even know if our grandson is alive or his whereabouts. We request the police to give us the details of our grandson and hand him over to us. We want our grandson to live with us.”
While expressing concerns over his grandson, he further said that he has never met him or held him in his arms. They haveonly interacted through video calls.
Subhash’s brother, Bikas Modi, also voiced fears for the boy and thanked the police for their efforts so far, but stressed that justice is far from complete.
"Some people have been arrested but still not arrested. I believe that the Bengaluru police will take action against them as soon as possible," he told India Today. "And after this, the biggest concern for us is where my brother’s son is right now and in what condition."
Bengaluru police on Sunday arrested the estranged wife of techie Atul Subhash who committed suicide alleging harassment by his wife and his in-laws. According to the police, the other two accused, identified as Nisha Singhania, mother of Nikita Singhania and her brother, Anurag Singhania, were arrested from Uttar Pradesh's Allahabad.
